Teresa Doyle is an Irish artist who lives in rural North Westmeath, Ireland. After a decade of living in New York she returned to Ireland and for over twenty years, through the medium of art has engaged with and worked closely with a diversity of people.
Whether painting, drawing or working with collage, the figure and people have been the focus of her own artwork and paintings. In 2007 she began working with the figure in a three dimensional form creating a doll which held a particular family memory for her.
Through word of mouth Teresa has been asked to make her bespoke dolls. Over the intervening years, by making and doing, she has continued to perfect, develop and create a unique personalised, handcrafted doll.
